I have finally finished something!

Finally back with some knitting!
I have been knitting a bit ess lately, it seems that my mojo is almost non-existant, but I do have managed to finish a HUGE project!

It is Mariager, from Hanne Falkenberg, a Danish designer I adore.
Some years ago I purchased two of her kits at cucumberpatch, an online store that carries her kits, and has reasonable prices (especially when the pound is a bit low....).

It is knit all in one piece, very cleverly, and I also adore the use of stripes and color! It is for m, and she really likes it, and I'm sure it will get a lot of use. Here it is modeled

The wool is really soft, especially after washing.
Now to the less easy part: it is knit with 3mm needles and it is huge, and it took me more than a year to finish it (tue to be said, I also knitted many other things in the meanwhile)! But it was all totelly worth it, I'm super happy and already dreaming of starting the second kit AND buying some other kits. Eeeeek, I should resist to temptation!
