A trip to Puglia - Monte Sant'Angelo

The impact here was a bit rough, the sanctiuary attracts many people, and activities are fluorishing around it!

Crowds and hot weather are not a good combination for me. But soon I was fascinated by the charm of the place, with its roofs and buildings

we then headed to the sanctuary

along a busy street

and finally got there!

we could have taken a taxi

but had another stroll while the evening was approaching

we finally got ourselves a little drink and chat in a charming bar

while the street emptied as there was a football match starting!

and then returned back to the car

The daily trip was not finished, we passed through Margherita di Savoia, where huge salt marshes were glowing in the sundown light

and finally reached for the night the town of Barletta, where a kind driver indicated us a great hotel, and we finally could get some rest after a wonderful and long day
