Two days ago I received something in the mail that excited and moved me so much!
I was waiting for an envelope, and I received a huge box! It is part of the corner to corner, "a circle of giving and receiving where Joanne's tenugui goes from one person to another, starting with Jane and ending back with Joanne, wrapping a small gift of some kind. (Please read here for more details)" as beautifully explained here by Francesca from Fuoriborgo.
I have always been a super fan of paper mail, and sending things and messages, so when I read about the corner to corner I jumped in.
I have also always been fascinated by the communications you can have with distant soul mates from around the world.
You can imagine my surprise and delight when I opened and found that Heather has been so kind and thoughtful, really sending me emotions that are still working (more about this tomorrow, in a special post about the sea....). Thank you Heather!!!!
I was also moved by the sight of all the notes from everybody, I felt I was having in my hand a string connecting good people from around the world!

I hope you enjoy it. I had fun putting it together and collecting the shells with friends.
Thank you Gis for sharing, and letting us take a peek - what a wonderful package from Heather!
I so enjoy seeing what everyone sends to the next one. We are discovering wonderful aspects of each other from these packages. I was thrilled when I got mine from Elizabeth and had a blast figuring out what to send Heather.
I think it's esp. cool how we have revealed bits and pieces of ourselves in our blogs so that the person assigned to us can figure out what will really be 'just right'.
I love this package from Heather! She is a sweetie!:>)
It will be interesting and fun to see what projects come from that book!;>)
this is so powerful!
i can't wait to share my bits, and bobs, and pieces, and love...
well done, gis.
